Sausage in batter with peppers

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 300 g yoghurt
  • 1½ cups grated parmesan or gruyere cheese
  • 100 g butter at room temperature
  • 2 red peppers
  • 2 green peppers
  • 3 cups flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (hot, mild)
  • 1 Lukullus Silesian sausage

Preparation

Mix the butter in a blender until fluffy, add the eggs one by one and continue mixing. Add the yoghurt, cheese, and diced peppers. Gradually add the flour, sieved with a pinch of salt. Mix well, and pour half of the batter mixture (with peppers) into a baking tin which has been sprinkled with flour and greased with butter, shaking it well so that the mixture is evenly spread. Place the sausage on top, and then pour on the rest of the batter mixture, again shaking to spread it evenly. Bake in a preheated oven for 50 minutes at 180 °C.
